2.2 LINE Platform Data

When you connect a LINE Official Account to BotSphere, we receive and store the following data from the LINE Platform via the LINE Messaging API and LINE Login:

  • LINE User ID
  • LINE display name
  • Profile picture URL
  • Chat messages sent to/from the connected LINE Official Account
  • LINE channel information (Channel ID, Channel name)

2.3 Usage Data

  • Log data (IP address, browser type, access times)
  • Feature usage and interaction analytics
  • Device information

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Providing and operating the BotSphere chatbot platform
  • Processing and routing messages between channels and agents
  • Powering AI chatbot responses and automation
  • Generating analytics and performance reports
  • Improving and optimizing our Service
  • Communicating with you about your account and Service updates
  • Ensuring security and preventing fraud

4. LINE User Data Policy Compliance

BotSphere fully complies with the LINE User Data Policy. Specifically:

  • We only access LINE user data that is necessary to provide the chatbot and customer engagement services.
  • LINE user data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  • LINE user data is stored securely using encryption at rest and in transit.
  • We do not use LINE user data for purposes unrelated to the services provided through BotSphere.
  • Users may request deletion of their LINE-related data at any time (see Section 7).
  • We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect LINE user data in accordance with LINE's requirements.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We may share your information with the following third parties:

  • LINE Platform — Messages and interactions are transmitted through the LINE Messaging API as required to deliver the Service.
  • Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) — Our Service is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region. Data is processed and stored using AWS infrastructure services.
  • AI Providers — Chat messages may be processed by AI language model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate automated responses, subject to their respective privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience:

  • Essential Cookies — Required for authentication and basic Service functionality.
  • Analytics Cookies — Help us understand how users interact with the Service to improve performance.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:

  • Account data is retained until account deletion is requested.
  • Chat message history is retained for up to 12 months from the date of the message.
  • Analytics data is retained in aggregate form.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@botsphere.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Upon account deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal data, including LINE user data, from our systems.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including: encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest, access control with role-based permissions, two-factor authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
